Building actually started on the Anzac weekend 2010. By June we had completed all the frames and minikeels, the stong backs were complete, and the frames were to comence being mounted on the strongbacks. Both hulls are being built concurrently.
Gluing the frames

Back troubles coming on? Nope ! Lucky I'm a young feller!

The frames for both hulls ready for set up the strong backs.

We own a LOT of clamps!
Mounting the frames on the strong back

These 3 photos show frame 2 with 40mm cut off, and the first layer of keelson checked in on frame 3 and the transom. The second layer of keelson will be shaped to be fair with the frame bases, providing a good surface to attach the base ply.

Putting the frames on the strongbacks.
The trick is to hold them all vertical. If one falls, they all fall like dominos.

Adding stringers and chines

Ready to glue the strings and chines of both hulls.
We were just waiting for the temperature to rise to around 16 - 17 degrees Celcius to help with epoxy curing.

All stringers and chines installed ready for sheeting.

This shows the stringer joining the chine between the transom and frame 10

This notch in frame 10 still has me tossed. Originally i thought the notch was at the edge of the frame, although for the stringer to be perfectly horizontal as per plans the notch is set in approx 30mm.
